Standard Schnauzers are medium-sized dogs, standing
around 17.5 to 19.5 inches (44 to 50 cm) tall and weighing
between 30 to 45 pounds (14 to 20 kg). They have a robust
and athletic build, with a wiry, dense coat that is usually
solid black or salt-and-pepper. Their keen, alert eyes and
distinctive bushy eyebrows give them an intelligent and
alert expression.
Giant Schnauzers are the largest of the Schnauzer breeds,
standing at around 23.5 to 27.5 inches (60 to 70 cm) tall
and weighing between 60 to 85 pounds (27 to 39 kg). They
have a powerful, muscular build and a dense, wiry coat that
is typically solid black. Despite their size, Giant
Schnauzers are known for their agility and versatility,
often excelling in activities such as obedience, tracking,
and protection work.

traits. They are intelligent, spirited, and generally eager
to please their owners. They are known for their loyalty and
make excellent companions and family pets. Schnauzers are
typically good with children and can adapt well to various
living environments, including apartments, as long as they
receive regular exercise and mental stimulation.
